Oregon Center for Change - Sex Offender Treatment Therapist
Masters required; License preferred.
Our Beaverton, Oregon, outpatient psychotherapy clinic is experiencing steady growth, presenting us with an opportunity to grow our practice team. We are looking to hire part-time or full-time clinical professionals. Our practice specializes in the treatment of adults with a history of sexual offending, poor sexual boundaries or concerns with compulsive sexual behaviors. We also offer therapy for partners of individuals who have problematic sexual behaviors. Our clients may be self-referred, while others are referred by lawyers, other therapists or are mandated by courts to get treatment.
Your clinical caseload may include facilitating active CBT/Yalom-based groups and/or counseling sessions for individuals. We prefer to hire candidates who have a master's degree or doctorate, a current professional clinical license or working towards one. Also, group or individual therapy training/experience is preferred. However, we know that sometimes a strong interest and a learner's mind is what's most important. If you have strong therapy skills or you're highly motivated to learn, we want to talk with you.
As for job benefits, except for the times that you're scheduled for therapy sessions or our weekly group supervision/team meetings, your time is your own to plan. Part-time or full-time, no time clocks; we're looking for professionals, as long as the paperwork gets done! Some of our clinicians work as few as two treatment groups a week, others have facilitated eight weekly groups. You could also build your individual-client practice with us. We offer a competitive salary, generous PTO plan, comfortable office space, free parking, nice co-workers and frequent team luncheons.
If you have a resume that you can send, great. If you don't have one ready, please send a note or cover letter, or just make a phone call to have an exploratory chat with us. We are prepared to hire. Find out more about us at www.oregoncenterforchange.com. If you're interested in talking about the possibility of working here, call Tom Swafford today at 971-757-6011 and/or submit your resume through our website.
