Hardship Requests

OATSA offers two opportunities for financial support for retreats and conferences

OATSA Scholarship

To encourage new mental health professionals to become involved in this important clinical subfield, OATSA offers full tuition scholarships for up to five (5) students each year for both the OATSA Annual Retreat and the ATSA Annual Conference.

Please submit a 1000 word statement and the OATSA Scholarship Application at least 3 weeks prior to the event.

OATSA Event Hardship Request

To enable professionals and students who are dedicated to this subfield, but experiencing temporary financial difficulties, to attend the OATSA events, OATSA offers a limited number of hardship awards for each event. The hardship award covers 50% of the registration fee for the event. Professional will be responsible for travel and lodging costs and any food costs not covered by registration fee.

Please submit the OATSA Financial Hardship Application at least 3 weeks prior to the event.
